Ivaholm is an 8-acre, 5th generation country Victorian home and farmstead (originally a 200-acre working dairy and apple business) located just minutes from downtown Skaneateles and 3 miles from both Skaneateles and Otisco Lakes in the beautiful Finger Lake Region of Central New York State. The nearest airport is Syracuse International airport, an easy 30-minute drive.
Ivaholm is an Italianate Victorian home originally built 1879. It has been in the Ackles Family for 5 generations, and is currently available on a selective basis for a couple or professional single who is seeking an authentic and peaceful farm-like sanctuary retreat setting with all the conveniences of an upscale nearby village and nearby airport.
Currently available for extended stay (4 weeks to 6+ months) is the main house downstairs: one large master suite and bath, den/study, kitchen, dining room, and great room. (See slide show.) Upstairs is functionally restored at present and may be considered. Additional and separate working shop/ceramic studio in a large heated barn is possible as an extra.
