Songs that open recognition of one’s deepest essence

Songs are a potent way of touching what matters in life. These songs make room for what waits beneath the surface of things — where music speaks first.

Reflecting Essential Self Within Music

Much living experience moves through the body before it becomes thought or knowing — It often comes more accessibly through rhythm, tone, breath, and repetition. Music meets that layer directly. It carries what is understood not only by the mind, but by the nervous system, the cells, and the long memory of being alive.

I have evolved into writing Soul-Essence songs because song allows a person to deeply feel and recognize what cannot be as deeply invoked and experienced in most other ways.

Essence is naturally recognized through experiences of felt resonance—and for this, music with lyric becomes a doorway to deep inner seeing.

I have found, that songs written from within this energetic have the capacity to carry the listener into the inner threshold of essential seeing. This is precisely the space where healing breakthroughs occurred in my previous work with private clients, and where life reorients itself naturally—not through force, but rather through deeply felt reflection and realization of true self.

These songs are composed where lived experience, soul recognition, and musical motion meet. They are not meant to persuade or perform meaning, but to transmit it — so that something already known can be felt, named, and met as whole.

A Personal Invitation

I invite you into a landscape where meaning is felt before it is named; where music expresses what has been lived; and where song accompanies what is ready to be realized.

These songs have been written to be lived within as they are listened to.

They arise from lived experience and are shaped to recognize, honor, and accompany the deeper layers of selfhood that reveal themselves along life’s passages.

Some arrive with tenderness and formal restraint; others carry humor, irony, or sassy self-ownership. Still others move toward integration — where heart and self come into clearer alignment.

Current Essence Songs*

These songs offered here are not designed to be taken in as a sequence. Descriptions are offered to help you notice what draws you. At this time in your life, perhaps none will; perhaps only one.  I invite you to choose to listen to a song here as your senses call you toward it.*

And if you find that a song you hear feels as if it encircles and is calling something of your essential self to you — will know it in your body.

NOTE: You may return and listen to songs posted here as often as you wish. And if a song asks to come home with you — to be kept and accompany you through a season of your life — you are heartily welcome to do so below.

                     Zen Take

A buoyant, theatrically playful spiritual song — riffing on call/response choral church music with Queen-scale humor, Zen patience, and unapologetic lift. A Zen Operetta style take on the classic church song "What a Friend we have in..."

**Requesting Your Own Personal Essence Reflection Song

Where appropriate, I am also open to entering into a richly private depth process with you to create a lyric with music that reflects and awakens your life essence back to you, and as part of my evolving SoulArts private work in it's continuation.

This is incredibly powerful as attested by the songs below---each of which were originally created for a specific specific life realization  - and yet carry universal recognition available to others as well.

Please INQUIRE if this calls out to you.
